This website represents the opinions of several PLCA Owners, who wish to inform you of important matters regarding our current concerns within Paradise Lakes Condominium Association. It starts with voting Lacey Evans off of the Board by a 51% Majority Vote (144) of Owners in the community, known as a Recall of a Board Member, as allowed by Florida Statute 718.

Lacey Evans has not only been demoted to a Director Position on the Board, but has cost all PLCA Owners $17,000+ in legal fees over the last two years between her legal matter over the use of video cameras and then suing the association over her loss in the 2024 election. Her lawsuit, along with others, is a significant reason the Directors & Officers Insurance increased by $30,000 this year alone. In our opinion, her leadership may also be contributing to escalated social media and email attacks on PLCA Staff and the other Board Members. There appears to be no end in sight.

Lacey has proposed, multiple times, an Audit and Compliance Committee, which (if approved) would give committee members unfettered access to your personal information. Her actions appear to want the elimination of Vanguard Management Group, the LCAM, and Admin, in order to "self-manage" our condo association, with access to a $1.35 million annual budget, which is not a normal practice for an association of our size. Many residents remember our previous experience with self-management, which did not end well for PLCA. We do not need a repeat performance.

You have probably already read the numerous nasty emails and social media posts targeting her fellow board members. The Board Members are tired of the attacks, falsehoods, and increased time dealing with frivolous accusations, and as a result, they probably won't run again. If this happens, it is possible Lacey Evans could put in place the very same people behind these attacks. To keep Lacey Evans and her supporters off the Board, we need the Owners to step up and help maintain the positive momentum PLCA had been experiencing prior to her election. Our community made great strides under the current leadership and management in recovering from the previous self-managed scenario, and unfortunately, many owners feel that PLCA is now going backwards.

We need your help to Take Back PLCA from this small group of destructive owners who have created a negative and hostile environment throughout our community and it starts with YOU as an Owner in voting by Ballot to Recall Lacey from the Board.

Please review the documents below to better understand why Lacey Evans should be recalled as a Board Member. The owners sponsoring this website believe that while the current management of the community may not be perfect, it does strive to provide accountability and transparency. In order to protect PLCA from self-management by these individuals, the Recall of Lacey Evans is required by a 51% Majority of Owners.
